A love letter to myself

"It's near to my house," a boy answered confidently when he was being asked by the MC. It was the answer towards this question, "Why do you choose Univesiti Sains Malaysia as a place of study?" My heart numbed the first second I heard the answer. I didn't really know the reason. The boy sounded like he was telling a funny joke,most of the students bursted into laughter. However, that was definitely not a joke for me. Somehow, his answer made me real frustrated. It looked childish to me. Maybe it was because I'm a girl who came all the way from Sarawak to Penang to continue my study.
The real motive of me writing this post was not to boast about my hometown yet telling how my university life was. It was a motivating post from me, a letter to myself. I need to gain my strength and concentration in order to get an excellent grade for my course.
Dear Me,
You are a smart and curious girl who had been hiding impatiently under the strongest and most protective wings, you had always been nagging and complaining on this kind of matter, now, your time have finally came, it is your time to explore on your own. No one will be able to help you. Your family are not going to do so. Your friends will be busy on their studies. Only you can help yourself. When you trip and fall, no one will be there, giving you their caring hand, offering you a tissue to clear your wounds, as you are all alone. The only thing you shall do is to stand up on your feet and wipe your tears. I know you are an extremely sensitive girl, you cried when you had done something wrong, you wept when you aren't happy, you screamed when you are being betrayed, stop doing so. You did not deserve any of those. You deserve a joyful life, it is not worthy enough to get mad at anyone else. No one has the right to steal your big bright smile. So, be positive and smile =). Remember, Our God is protecting us, just go on and smile.
